European Innovation Council

The European Innovation Council (EIC) is Europe’s flagship innovation programme to identify, develop and scale up breakthrough tech innovations. With a budget of €10.1 billion the EIC supports innovation across the entire lifecycle: from early-stage research to proof of concept, technology transfer, and scaling up of startups and small companies. Financial support can be provided in the form of grants, equity, or a combination of both. But EIC support goes beyond funding: it aims to accelerate innovations for scale up and commercialisation, by providing access to a range of tailor-made EIC Business Acceleration Services to researchers, innovators and entrepreneurs.
