Xavier Urios Aparisi

Xavier Urios Aparisi is the Head of the Legal Department of the Catalan Data Protection Authority (APDCAT). A lawyer of the Government of Catalonia, he has extensive legal experience in the public sector, having served as Director General of Litigation Affairs in the Legal Office of the Government of Catalonia.

 

He is an associate professor at the University of Barcelona and a lecturer at the Graduate School of the Autonomous University of Barcelona. He has also participated in the drafting of regulations related to new technologies and data protection, and has collaborated on publications and research in these fields.
