Jay Persaud, Global Leader of Emerging Technology Ecosystem
Jay serves as EY’s Global Leader Emerging Technology Ecosystem, managing a portfolio of relationships with emerging AI and data platform technology companies and investors. In his role, Jay continues to expand and secure new alliances with innovative companies to help fuel EY’s next wave of growth. In addition, Jay serves as Global Client Service Partner and Senior Advisory Partner across several accounts, as well as executive sponsor of several technology alliances.
Prior to this role, he served as Vice Chair of Risk Management in the U.S. and Americas where he is widely recognized for his steadfast leadership and commitment to upholding the health and safety of everyone at EY during the COVID-19 pandemic. During his 30+ years at EY, Jay has built several practices, held several market-facing and leadership roles across the EY network.
He was formerly the Presiding Partner of EY Americas and U.S. Partner Councils, and a member of EY Global Governance Council, Global Practice Group, Americas Operating Executive, and US Executive Committee.
He is a graduate of the University of Calgary and Harvard Business School, and a member of the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada (CPA Canada) and a CPA in the United States.
