Information
Synflora is a biotechnology research project focused on developing next-generation skin microbiome therapies. The project investigates engineered beneficial microbes capable of delivering therapeutic functions directly on the skin, enabling precise and long-term treatment of dermatological and systemic conditions. Synflora operates with a B2B2C vision, aiming to collaborate with pharmaceutical, cosmetic, and healthcare partners to translate research into real-world applications. The initiative combines synthetic biology, microbiology, and data-driven design to create safe, scalable, and sustainable solutions. Synflora is supported by an EIC Transition project and is currently in the research phase, with formal company incorporation planned for 2026.
