PrevED

PrevED is an innovative research project developing a mixed reality (MR) intervention to prevent eating disorders (ED) among adolescents and young adults. By addressing emotion dysregulation through an engaging, low-stigma digital therapeutic experience, the project aims to significantly reduce ED risks. Co-designed with students, families, and clinical experts, the tool follows a user-centered design approach, undergoing rigorous testing for usability, user experience, and presence. To validate its efficacy, we are conducting a randomized controlled pilot trial across schools and universities.
