Javier is a Principal at Sofinnova’s Digital Medicine strategy. He is a thesis-driven VC investor operating at the intersection of life sciences, AI, and healthcare, with experience across multiple European healthcare systems. At Sofinnova, he serves as a board observer for frontier AI, data, and infrastructure companies including Latent Labs, Bioptimus, Cure51, Deepc, Kiro, and Eo. Javier also co-leads Sofinnova.ai, the firm’s internal engineering team building AI-driven tools to augment and accelerate its investment processes.
