He serves as Director of the AI Institute at the Barcelona Supercomputing Center (BSC-CNS), where he leads startegic initiatives in AI research, innovation, and technology transfer. His work focuses on advancing large-scale computing, data-driven science, artificial intelligence and its applications to real-world challenges across academia, industry, and the public sector. With an international background spanning research and leadership roles, he is committed to fostering interdisciplinary collaboration and strengthening Europe's capabilities in trustworthy and high-impact AI.
