Jameel Asghar is Chief People Officer at VEON Group with 20+ years of experience at Ericsson and Nokia across Pakistan, the Middle East and Africa. He joined VEON in 2016 as Chief People Officer of Jazz, later in 2018 became People Director at VEON HQ in Amsterdam and led People for VEON Ventures before his appointment as Chief People Officer VEON Group in 2023. He holds a BA in Law, an MBA and is a Wharton CHRO program graduate.
