Who will be crowned Startup of the Year 2018 during Mobile World Congress Shanghai?

For its 3rd edition, the 4YFN Startup of the Year (formally known as the 4YFN Award) is back and will feature prominently at this years 4YFN at Mobile World Congress Shanghai 2018, highlighting ten of the most pioneering projects that are set to disrupt and transform today’s world.

Originating at the flagship event in Barcelona, the 4YFN Startup of the Year has gathered momentum over the years, with interest from audiences ranging from top media companies to notable investment firms, and so in turn it has become increasingly popular amongst our startup community to get involved and apply wherever they may be from to battle it out for a spot on the mega main stage during the annual 4YFN Shanghai event that takes place alongside Mobile World Congress.

With this in mind, we’re thrilled to announce that we’ve chosen ten lucky finalists to exhibit their solutions from a stand over the three days and pitch their projects to the tech-savvy crowd on 27 and 28 June in the hope to be crowned the 4YFN Startup of the Year 2018!

And so…. drum rolls please….. the top 10 pioneering projects that have been picked to present this year are………


Capture3D (Spain) In eyesCloud3D you can make 3D models in five minutes with five photos taken with a smartphone.

Elevoc Technology (China) is a world-leading voice enhancement and intelligent speech interaction solution provider.

Fonda Technology Co., Ltd (China) is a smart outdoor lighting controlling system and related products provider.

IRYStec Software Inc. (Canada) offers perceptual display technology using embedded software technology, replicating what the human eye can see.

KARR (Thailand) is the 1st user-oriented O2O platform in an auto industrial chain of SEA.

Onedot Inc.  (Project Name: Babily) (China, Japan) is the no.1 Chinese baby-care video media with over 7 million users.

Roamability (USA) offers a real-time controlled solution for international mobile roaming services. Roamability enables mobile operators the ability to provide competitive global roaming services.

Sentiance (Belgium, China) is a data science company turning IOT sensor data into rich insights about people’s behavior and real-time context to enable companies to understand how customers go through their everyday lives, discover and anticipate the moments that matter most, and adapt their engagement to real-world behavior and real-time context.

Shanghai Tuoxiao Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd  (Project Name: Childcare) (China) that provides a heart and lung auscultation diagnosis system including a stethoscope and fetal monitoring belt.

Studio INYO Corp. (Korea) is a professional agency and production company for TV series animation. Studio INYO Corp. is aiming to be a company which excellent artists could work for gladly based on the derivation of INYO.


On 27 & 28 June, the ten finalists will be divided and five will pitch each day on the 4YFN stage in the afternoon from 16:00 – 17:00 hrs. The winner will be announced shortly after the final pitching session on 28 June.

Apart from the huge coverage that the winner will receive both during and post event, they will also win:
