Kari Kohtamäki
Description
Kari has an extensive background in research and development of technologies for health and wellbeing. He currently works as Senior Advisor at VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland Ltd. This role involves building bridges between scientific research and the business community, as well as creating both national and international partnership networks for VTT in the healthcare sector. Kari has also been an active supporter of ECHAlliance since it was established.
Prior to joining VTT, Kari held various managerial positions in global medical device
companies for more than 20 years, most recently at GE Healthcare’s patient monitoring
division. His international experience includes an assignment for the United Nations Industrial Development Organization, focusing on industrial development in African countries.
Kari is based in Helsinki, Finland.
