Chris is a technology and innovation adviser at the UK’s Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) with a blended public-private background, having worked within and closely alongside large corporates and donors. He runs FCDO’s strategic innovation partnerships with the GSMA and Unilever to test and scale new technologies and business models across the Global South. He brings experience in social innovation, digital and mobile technologies, financial inclusion and sectors ranging from energy and agriculture to circular economy and health. He is passionate about combining the scale, resources and capabilities of big businesses with donors and entrepreneurs to deliver inclusive social impact.
