Akanksha Sharma
Description
Akanksha Sharma is the Head of the ClimateTech and Digital Utilities programmes at GSMA Mobile for Development. She joined the GSMA in 2012 and has led several teams involved in research, advisory, grant funding and mobile operator engagement focussing on the use of digital technology for social impact. Akanksha has a longstanding experience in facilitating collaborative projects between mobile and tech companies, donors and the public sector. A researcher by training, Akanksha has also worked with GSMA Intelligence division as a senior mobile industry analyst at the beginning of her GSMA stint.
Prior to joining the GSMA, Akanksha had been living and working in India which is her native country. She holds an MBA from IBS Hyderabad (India) and a BSc. in Psychology from Rajasthan University, India.
