Session Description
The Catalan Data Protection Authority organizes a conference to analyze how data protection by design and by default has become a tool to promote the competitiveness of products and services. Not only at a European level, but also at a global level when dealing with data of EU individuals.
The fact is that the General Data Protection Regulation has become a global reference in terms of privacy protection. Data protection by design and by default is one of its axes, and refers to complying with personal data protection regulations from the design phase of products, services and applications, as long as and when they process personal data. It is a mandatory requirement for all entities and organizations that process personal data. In this session we will analyze the benefits of applying data protection principles from the beginning of the project.
