Blockchain, the Revolution

15:00 – 16:00 | SORACOM STAGE

Blockchain is the technology on which Bitcoin is based, and that – beyond revolutionising financial services – can completely transform the world of transactions, making them safe without the intervention of any intermediary such as a government, notary or bank. In this session we will have one of the world’s leading Blockchain experts to discuss the opportunities it will generate and its potential impact on the future.

Blockchain is a revolutionary system that allows transactions between two parties in a secure, reliable and irreversible way, without the need of an intermediary to establish a relationship of trust, as it happens in traditional systems.

As a result, Blockchain expedites transaction times to seconds and is not subject to the rules of a specific country or institution; that‘s why Blockchain can change all industries as we know them today.
