DrinkIA is a smart and knowledge-based Environmental Decision Support System that manages and optimises the complex daily operations of drinking water treatment plants and water supply networks. DrinkIA combines specific control modules for treatment units operation with scientific knowledge on a dependable and simple-to-maintain digital platform to improves plant operation efficiency in terms of NOM removal and DBP minimization at a lower operational cost. DrinkIA enables real-time condition assessments together with scenario simulation to improve the prioritisation of control actions based on the consequences of management decisions made along the treatment train and distribution system.
