The first summer camp dedicated to digital entrepreneurship
4YFN, the startup business platform of Mobile World Capital Barcelona and the Universitat de Vic-Universitat Central de Catalunya (UVic-UCC) recently launched, with support by Fundació Trams, a new summer camp for secondary school students, aged between 15 – 17 years old, in order to offer a unique introduction to the world of digital entrepreneurship. From 16 – 22 July, students will learn the basics of creating projects and companies in the digital sector.
At UCamp, the 4YFN team will display advanced methodologies employed in Silicon Valley and will train the students in the use of digital tools (apps, websites and E-commerce builders) to implement into a startup company. As part of the programme, the first edition of UCamp digital entrepreneurship also includes sessions, lectures and workshops given by several successful entrepreneurs, such as Jordi Cusidó from Healthapp and Smartlive, Jordi Guillem Soldevila from BrandYourShoes, Christian Rodriguez from ByHours, Alexander Diaz from Bioo and Oriol Serra from Nektar.
Apart from the summer camp, all participants in the UCamp will join the 4YFN community for one year, allowing them free access to various 4YFN events and activities.
4YFN at UCamp offers youngsters a unique introduction into the world of entrepreneurship. The ultimate goal is to increase knowledge, raise awareness and ignite a passion for entrepreneurship and new digital technologies.
