David Garcia is a versatile executive, entrepreneur, and innovator with a career spanning leadership roles across multiple industries. As CEO of YPlasma, he oversees the development of groundbreaking technologies in wind energy, semiconductor cooling, and aerospace propulsion. Previously, as COO of Kiin, a VR company in London, he orchestrated a remarkable turnaround, scaling the company from zero to $1M in revenue within eight months and successfully leading its expansion into the U.S. market. He also founded Quimera Energy in London, where as CEO, he grew the company to €3M in revenue in three years, achieving a €30M valuation from Circularity Capital and earning recognition in the Financial Times Fast Growing Companies index in 2020.
David co-founded QEV Technologies, a Spanish engineering firm specializing in electric powertrain innovation, and served as COO of Deer Valley Capital, supporting global ventures in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, India, China, the USA, and Mexico through strategic planning, funding, and business development. Prior to his entrepreneurial journey, David spent over a decade in the corporate world, holding strategic roles at NTT Data, Crown Cork & Seal, and Veolia. With an MBA from ESADE and fluency in English and Spanish, David’s career highlights include structuring funding rounds, driving international expansion, achieving substantial revenue growth, and pioneering cutting-edge solutions in e-mobility, energy efficiency, and emerging technologies.
