Elevoc has turned out to be a very worthy winner indeed, having leapt from strength to strength after its win, winning new customers and closing a very successful round of funding.
Having just launched the 4YFN Shanghai Awards 2019, we wanted to catch up with Elevoc to hear more about its remarkable journey to success. Here we spoke to Eric, CEO of Elevoc to find out about the last 10 months.
Elevoc is a solution provider with the ability to enable smart devices to possess “human–like” auditory capabilities.
Elevoc’s first achievement based on decades of research, was training machines to distinguish and separate background noise from speech by applying sophisticated Deep Learning and signal processing technologies.
Other advancements include using voice trigger and voiceprint recognition to deliver an optimized voice interface solution for the IoT sector, thus delivering a seamless device usage experience for all consumers.
With that in mind, we are moving forth in the communication industry, with an aim of creating a new standard for speech signal processing engines. Success in this regard requires partnership with major players in the communication industry with a common view to build an extensive ecosystem, and we are proud to say we are well on track.
In last June, we received pre-A series funding from Xiaomi and Qualcomm Ventures amounting to several million USD dollars, which we used to increase investment in R&D, expand our team, enrich our product line and hold marketing events.
We have won some spectacular new deals with major industry players like Xiaomi, OPPO, Nubia, Meitu, Cheetah Mobile, 51talk, Smartisan. We also have forged partnership with well-known chip makers such as Qualcomm, Cirrus logic, CEVA, Cadence, Infineon, etc. Last December, we became the Independent Software Partner (ISV) of Qualcomm and its AI software partner. On 2018 Qualcomm Snapdragon Summit, we jointly showcased our AI noise reduction solution. We have come a very long way in a very short time!
We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the organizer GSMA, which gave us the opportunity to showcase our technology in 2019 4YFN at MWC Barcelona. This event in the communications industry has provided us a platform for more players to get to know us.
Elevoc’s vision for its business dovetails with the GSMA’s goal of intelligently connecting everyone and everything for a better future. We are delighted to be working with 4YFN and the GSMA, and look forward to future collaborations.
