The total amount of capital available for investment in startups is skyrocketing at €22.6 Billion. In this article we tell you more about who these investors are, what are they looking for and some tips on how to meet them.
From across the investment landscape, business angels, Venture capitalists, CVCs, family offices, investment banks, investment platforms and networks are gathering at 4YFN 2022. The 4YFN investors programme supports investors in making their time at the event as productive as possible.
Who will be there?
Investors from 35 countries are coming to 4YFN. What are investors looking for?
We know that about 76% of startups at 4YFN are currently raising investment, but what type of deal-flow are investors interested in? we asked investors to choose the fields of investment and solutions they are interested in.
SaaS and other solutions applied to business and productivity are the leading interest for investors with over 55% indicating these options as a priority. Fintech and other solutions applied to financial and insurance services are of interest to 50% of investors. Other noticeable fields include smart cities (48%), digital health and healthcare solutions (46%) and retail and marketplaces (40%).
Comparing to previous years, we’re seeing increased interest from investors in startups working on social impact and sustainablity solutions, with 23% choosing this area as a priority.
How to meet investors at 4YFN22?
On-site, the focal point for investors is the investors corner within the Private Meeting Lounge (hall 6). However, you can also meet investors at some on the networking sessions at the community lounge, and catch them speaking on stage.
The 4YFN conference programme includes the investor series as well as other sessions where international investors like Paul Murphy (partner, Lightspeed Venture Parners), Annalise Dragic (partner, Sapphire ventures) and Isabelle Gallo (partner, Breega VC) will take the stage.
