For those who don’t know Boxmotions what is it that you do? What’s special about your company?

We are a logistics tech company based in Barcelona. Our technology improves both the experience and efficiency around bulky items such as furniture, home appliances, large sports equipment, etc. We were originally born as a personal logistics service providing on-demand storage to consumers and since 2020 we are focusing on home delivery of bulky items for retail and e-commerce, boosting their end-customer experience.

What has been your biggest challenge in the last year? And your biggest learning?

Our biggest challenge was doubling our revenues from last year with the new B2B business line as the main growth driver. This was possible thanks to the whole team learning important change-management skills combined with great resiliency.

You have won the 4YFN Awards in Barcelona in 2018. What is the most exciting thing for you about your experience at 4YFN event?

The event opened a great window of visibility for us at the time and, besides the valuable social validation, it definitely helped us expanding our network for fundraising in 2018.

4YFN is a great chance to network and keep in touch with key stakeholders in the tech startup ecosystem, and this has great value. This time we may be more focused on finding potential partnerships for our B2B approach.

Any advice for startups that are planning to apply for the 4YFN Awards 2022?

Have fun! I don’t believe there is any secret sauce. It’s probably more about being passionate enough to explain your project in a way that engages both the audience and the jury. In 2018 all contenders were great and I’m sure the 2022 edition will bring amazing projects and founders. Looking forward to it!
